So apparently this little girl has a temper.
I just got off the phone with the woman in charge of this foster program, and she said that Matrix Is a ball of energy and pretty strong, sometimes snapping at other females she thinks will challenge her for dominance… and maybe I should start with something easier, because I haven’t had experience with pitbulls.
In fact, I’ve never owned a pet. My parents wouldn’t allow it because they didn’t want to deal with the poop and stuff, and even as I look for a nice doggie myself, they’re being a bit too negative. Responsibility. Poop. Cleaning. They’ll eat your favorite things. They scare me out of taking a chance because they didn’t take a chance.
And now the woman who called me back five days after I emailed is giving me the deal on responsibility and all the stuff and is trying to scare me out of this or taking “an easier dog”. No, I actually kinda like this one. Look at her! I offered to look into lessons, gave her the details on my very ordinary life, and geez, a pit owner has to start somewhere, right?
